The Security Training Program Manager is responsible for the strategic design, development, implementation, and evaluation of enterprise-wide security training programs across the health system. This role leads a standardized Security Training Academy, coordinates onboarding and ongoing competency validation, and ensures alignment with healthcare security best practices, regulatory requirements, and organizational priorities. The Manager partners with security leadership and site-based teams to ensure consistent, high-quality training delivery that supports a safe and secure environment across Memorial Health. Embodies the Memorial Health System Performance Excellence Standards of Safety, Quality, Integrity, and Stewardship.
Education: · Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, Education, Organizational Development, Healthcare Administration, or related field is required; experience may be considered in lieu of education.

Licensure/Certification/Registry: · Professional certification in training, learning and development, or instructional design (e.g., Association for Talent Development (ATD) CPTD, APTD, or equivalent) preferred. · Certification by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board, or any state equivalent certifying body, as a certified trainer, recommended for candidates with a Law Enforcement background. · Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within 30 days of hire required. · Valid Driver’s License, must have 5 years of driving experience, and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must be approved in accordance with the MH Fleet Safety Program. |
Experience: · Minimum of five (5) years of experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related field required. · Minimum of three (3) years of experience in training, education, or staff development required. · Previous leadership or program management experience required. · Experience in healthcare or regulated environment is strongly preferred. · Demonstrated experience developing and delivering training programs, curriculum design, and competency assessment. |
