The Rehab Repair Technician performs and supervises the assembly, repair and maintenance of Rehab equipment provided by Memorial Home Services of CI, and maintaining all appropriate documentation. This service or repair could be for equipment to be delivered in compliance with specific medical requirements, modifications to existing customer equipment, repair of damaged or malfunctioning customer equipment or routine service required by the manufacturer. Education: · Education equivalent to graduation from high school is required. |
Licensure/Certification/Registry: · Must possess a valid IL driver’s license and be deemed as an acceptable driver in accordance with the MHS Fleet Safety Policy (five year MVR will be required). · Minimum of 10 complex rehab CEU’s required annually |
Experience: · One or more years of experience in HME/healthcare delivery, warehouse, electrical maintenance and repair or related experience required. |
Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: · Possess basic mathematics and personal computer skills, with the ability to retrieve and enter limited amounts of data are required. · Must be detailed oriented, organized, focused and personable. · Ability to use a variety of medical testing equipment. · Demonstrates the ability to push and pull up to 75 pounds. · Ability to manage multiple priorities. · Strong mechanical aptitude is required. |
