Provide comprehensive interventional cardiology services to individual patients of all ages and families with a wide range of heart conditions, diseases, and complications. Diagnose patients and prescribe appropriate interventions, therapies, medications, and other treatments modalities. Treat and manage heart patients using electrocardiograms (EKGs), ultrasounds, and MRIs and international technologies such as catheters and stents, and pacemaker implantation and other procedures. Refer patients to outside specialists as necessary. Collect, record, and maintain details of the patients' histories, physical examinations diagnostic test results, assessments, management plans, and treatment outcomes.
Medical Degree, or equivalent; completion of residency in Internal Medicine; completion of fellowship in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology; board certification or eligibility for certification in Interventional Cardiology; license to practice medicine or eligibility for licensure in Illinois.
