Overview

Oversees the annual compliance schedule that includes monitoring Form I-9 employment authorizations, IDPH Healthcare Worker Registry annual audits, certification/licensure maintenance and various compliance throughout the year. Manages all colleague contracts from end to end and the recoupment process when necessary.  Ensures compliance with all federal and state regulations governing HR policies and procedures. Contributes effectively to the development, deployment and sustainability of HR best practices, policies and compliance.  Serves as administrative support for Policy and Compliance functions within the HR Division. 

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, or related field or Associates degree and equivalent related work experience. 

Experience:

  • Minimum three (3) years Contracts, Compliance, Accounting or Human Resource experience required

Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for completing the monthly and annual HR compliance tasks on the Compliance Schedule.

 

  1. Coordinates end-to-end contract management for colleague contracts. (sign on, recruitment, retention, educational training, commitment, etc.). Ensures each contract follow MH policies and procedures to ensure the best stewardship possible for the colleague and MHS.  

 

  1. Coordinate directly with legal to ensure contract workflows are timely and administered according to MH policies.

 

  1. Coordinate end-to-end recoupment process for colleague contracts when necessary in a timely and precise way.

 

  1. Conducts credentialing functions in accordance with established organization policies and legal requirements.

 

  1. Assists in the development of procedures and mechanisms to support the organization’s need to meet compliance standards set forth by all external regulatory agencies.

 

  1. Participates in establishing strong standards for process, workflow, and documentation associated with assigned area(s) of oversight.

 

  1. Manages large amounts of sensitive, confidential information concerning personnel, financial, strategic, and business information contained in contracts, letters and other documents with great integrity.

 

  1. Participates in special projects and supports business and change management initiatives.

 

  1. Ensures compliance with all federal and state regulations governing HR policies and procedures. Performs HR audit functions as requested/needed.

 

  1. Performs administrative tasks that relate to policy and compliance, such as managing colleague personnel file requests.

 

  1. Performs other related work as required or requested.
