Outpatient Surgery Services
** NO WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS **
Schedule: M-F, Days (8:00am - 4:30pm)
Three call shifts (7pm-11pm) within 6 week schedule
The Main Surgery Services Registered Nurse is an outpatient position, providing pre and post op care for patients coming from the Main OR, including Phase II Recovery.

What You’ll Do:
Across our hospital, RNs are trusted to:
• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to individual patient needs.
• Assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans and evaluate outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, coordinated care.
• Administer medications, treatments and interventions aligned with hospital protocols.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families navigating illness or injury.
• Lead or support patient safety, quality improvement and professional development efforts.
• Supervise LPNs, CNAs and unlicensed assistive personnel, fostering a team-based environment.

Education, Licensures & Certifications:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required (BSN preferred)
• Active RN license in the State of Illinois (or ability to obtain) is required
• Current BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required based on unit
