The Senior Value Analyst negotiates bids for the purchase of products, capital equipment and services for enterprise-wide use. Project scope: up to $10M by project or up to $50M by contract portfolio in area of contract responsibility. Interfaces with technical and in-house customer service personnel to define data needs and develop reports that meet customer requirements. Independently performs data extraction and develops reporting tools for customer. In this capacity, assists with the development, implementation and evaluation of information retrieval and display methods to support electronic data collection, e-commerce for Value Analysis initiatives for Memorial Health System. Works on complex problems including data analysis for physician preference items that includes analysis of situations and data that requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. May determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Provides expertise and guidance to other personnel and acts in the capacity of an informal leader for the department. Is accountable for ensuring quality, service, and efficiency in meeting/exceeding business goals.
