Coordinates scheduling of all volunteers, securing substitutes when needed. Manages inter-department projects. Develops policies and procedures for volunteers to serve in various areas and departments of the medical center. Coordinates on-the-job training for volunteers and assists orienting new volunteers. Provides administrative support to staff. Assists with administrative duties for Friends of Memorial Medical Center and various aspects of volunteer recruitment, orientation, training, and retention. Embodies the Memorial Health System Performance Excellence Standards of Safety, Courtesy, Quality, and Efficiency that support our mission, vision and values.
Education: · Bachelor’s degree required or four years of working with volunteers or community-service related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Licensure/Certification/Registry:

Experience: · One year related experience working with volunteers required.

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: · Outstanding professional demeanor and communication skills needed. · Demonstrated leadership experience with staff scheduling and balancing multiple projects. · Proficient in Microsoft programs, such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel. · Moderate physical effort.
